- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆2018-01-15, by paul montgomeryService was good but had issues with the price and the quality. Could not believe how poor the Bakewell tart was from its birthplace. Icing was thick and hard and would have been more suited to a wedding cake. The filling was congealed and slimy. We both left it as inedible. Two slices of this 'delicacy' and two coffees cost £15, and the prices were not clearly displayed to inform your choice. Poor experience, and I related my complaint to the staff - oh, shrug.
