  Excellent shop! Visited after looking up local shops whilst visiting family in Buxton. Peter was very generous with his time and information; felt more like the visits to my local fishing shop as a kid, 25 yrs ago, when I would spend hours just listening and talking to the more experienced anglers. Having fished little over the last 15yrs, I left with a new rod/reel and tactics to try on my local (Manchester) waters. One word of warning though: don’t promise your better half that a visit to this shop will be brief unless you want to be tracked down and dragged out unceremoniously! Enough said.

  Peter is an absolute gent...and his emporium of 'stuff' and free flowing advice and knowledge is worth calling in for at any time, always come away feeling better equipped! Keep it up Peter.

  What a cracking little shop with just the items I was looking for. Owned and run by Peter if he doesn't have a fishing answer for you it probably never happened. Well worth a visit just go up the stone steps to his front door.

  More like popping in to have a chat with an old pal, than going to a shop. Peter is so welcoming, friendly & helpful. I can't wait to go back, whether I need anything or not!
