Reviews about Baked Well Pottery Painting
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆2017-09-16, by Chloe ThomasUnfriendly, bordering on passive aggressive, owners. They don't seem to enjoy running this business. They have lost my pottery. I can see it wasn't straight forward; I didn't have the reference number on me - ( I wasn't expecting to be in the area, as I live over a 100 miles away.) and I couldn't immediately remember when I visited. They went through all the bags (uncollected orders) - we checked the names on the front, nothing. As they took over the business from someone else , they tried to suggested it was her responsibility, but when I could prove I had visited after they took over, they couldn't do that anymore. They said someone else must have collected the pottery - which no one had. They said they always get the person collecting to unwrap and check it is the correct order. But they have no signing system, so we can't ever know if a mistake was made. Maybe it was broken (all 4 pieces?) and they were too embarrassed to say? Maybe they gave it - or posted it -- to another Chloe without checking the surname? Maybe they sold it? WHO KNOWS? I would say mistakes happen, because they do. And they did refund the money (£38!). But they were sullen and rude and started suggesting that I hadn't ever been there as I didn't have a receipt to hand. Luckily I found the bank statement and a photo of the pottery after we'd painted it. If they had ever said sorry instead of suddenly acting the victims themselves, I would never have written this. If you can't keep your customers' pottery safe and labelled - what's the point of running a pottery business? It can't be a coincidence that there are 2 other negative reviews recently.
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆2017-07-15, by Aneta OrlowskiI went today with my 3.5 year old to do some Christmas painting. After we finished and left my daughter asked if we could scrbnle something else on it as she forgot to scribble her name on it and some few other bits. We went back and I asked if we could do that. We were handed the plate back however the woman there became very rude as she didn't like the fact that my daughter decided to scribble more on it. Try to explain it to a 3 yesr old. She had a party or something upstairs and wasn't happy for us to go back were we Sat originally although the party didn't mind when I asked however she did. She started snatching the plate of my daughter leaving her in shock and then she charged us a double studio fee again as apparently I was painting too as she saw me with brushes in my hand where I was merely holding brushes and handing them to my daughter. She was so rude and abrupt even though I was a returning customer as we go every year there with quite a few friends with kids. Her loss now as my friends and I will not be returning so she will not be making a significant amount of money. I have never experiened such bad treatment as a customer. Even my 3 year old daughter asked why she was so rude. I make sure everyone i know is aware of it. I am surprised the business is still going based on the experience. I could give zero stars if i could.
